Shin-Bae Kim has served on the Board of Directors for POSCO as Chairman and member since 2017, and on the Global Advisory Board for Afiniti since 2020.
 
Mr. Kim worked at SK Group for 19 years. As Vice Chairman of SK Holdings, he was responsible for overseeing SK Group’s search for new growth strategies and business opportunities, as well as development and coaching initiatives for CEO candidates of SK Group affiliates. Prior to SK Holdings, Mr. Kim was President and CEO of SK C&C, a leading Korean provider of various IT services. He successfully listed the company on the Korean Stock Exchange (KRX) in November 2009.
 
From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Kim served as President and CEO of SK Telecom, the top mobile carrier in Korea. His focus on innovative products and services resulted in introducing the world’s first music ring-back tone service and telematics service in 2002, the first mobile payment service Moneta in 2004, and the first satellite-based digital TV service in 2005, before any other mobile carriers worldwide.
 
His efforts in innovation led him to be selected as one of the Best Leaders of 2005 by Business Week. He is also the proud recipient of the Moran Medal as South Korea's Order of National Service Merit, Da-San Best-of-the-Year Entrepreneur Award, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
